Leather Driving Harness Bridle Side Checks Driving Check Reins Black Harness Leather Anti-Grazing Reins
Leather side checks or side check reins for driving bridle. Rolled leather for rings to slide easily on, what looks like stainless steel hardware as it doesn't react to magnet, 5/8” flat leather with scored & rubbed edges, sliding straps with rings, & sliding leather loop for hooking to harness saddle. Size unknown, but measures 6'2" at largest adjustment with plenty of room to make smaller. Not stamped as to maker, is quality leather & well made. Can also be used on horses as an anti-grazing rein. Leather is supple, but 1 rein needs to be repaired or replaced as it is cracked or broken 1/2 way through(see photo) & would not use as it is. It also has a brass ring on end & brass buckle at rein end instead of stainless so it may have been added as a replacement rein before. Center strap has been cut down to make smaller. Replace or repair 1 side check or take apart for other pieces. Selling AS IS.

Draft Horse Harness Replacement Parts Leather Draft Driving Harness Tongue Strap
Black harness leather tongue strap, per owners information. Leather is 1 1/4” wide, 1/4” thick, & has chrome Conway buckle adjustment. Came from a draft horse farm. Length as adjusted now on 2nd hole from loop is approx 46” with 4 holes punched on this end approx 4” apart, & has 5 holes punched on other end approx 2” apart. Leather looks new/unused, although slightly dirty from storage in barn & there is a small wrinkled area that may be a flaw in the hide/leather or may be from use, but it does not look like it was ever used. No other buckles or hardware comes with this piece.
