It also works well to prevent horses from aggressive biting out in the pasture. Designed so that your horse can eat or drink normally but cannot tear blankets, bite, crib, etc. Works well for injured horses with drains, stitches or wrapped legs, so they cannot cause further damage to the area. Made of heavy 3/8" vinyl coated steel bars with a soft synthetic fleece nose liner. While horses can eat & drink with this muzzle, their intake will be slightly limited, especially with hay, so keep a close eye on your horse's attitude & body condition. Limited use may be necessary.
