This war bonnet can be used different ways, as a halter, a tie down or a breaking headstall. The war bonnet combines the cable bonnet & noseband all in one unit. Made of 3/16" cable coated with red vinyl covering, it has 2 pieces which lets you place either both across the poll or 1 in front of ears & 1 behind ears on the poll. Reminds horse to keep his head down. Recommend usage by professionals or experienced horsemen. Minor rust on rings, & a pair of loop kinks from being run through bit or martingale rings. Cable covering rubbed off in small area of each kink.

Leather Headstall Chambon Headsetting Rig Head Setter
Leather & cord head setter with snap ends, leather strap that goes back to girth that is adjustable, & is attached to a very adjustable sturdy leather headstall. Snaps attach to bit & run through a ring on either side of the crown piece & back down to girth to help set horses head while lunging. Training device to encourage the horse to lower his head and use his back. Strong leather with nylon rope for pulleys. This is different from most chambon's as it is it's own headstall, not one that attaches to your existing bridle. Looks Amish or quality made, but brand unknown. Adjusts with roller buckles both top & bottom of both cheek pieces, & adjusts on both sides of throatlatch. Bit shown in photo is Not included, only shown so you can see how it attaches. 1 pull or snag in nylon rope(see inset), but leather is soft & supple, yet very sturdy.
